Many CBF riders and boarders opt to enhance their riding skills through competitive training.

Under the watch of experienced CBF Head Trainer Brianna Davis, students train for equitation, hunter, and jumper divisions. Depending on their interests and ability, riders may choose to specialize in one division or train for multiple disciplines.

Riders in the competitive training program generally take one or two private lessons a week, depending on the barn's showing schedule.

In addition to lessons taken with Brianna, riders are encouraged and expected to continue practicing on their own.

Brianna prepares her students to compete at A-level shows up and down the East Coast. During the winter show season, CBF riders join other nationally competitive riders in the Ocala, FL circuit.

Our riders and horses have qualified for the Pony Finals, the Medal Finals, and the indoor series at Harrisburg, among other highlights.

Success for riders showing in the training program is not only about winning top scores, and so horsemanship and sportsmanship are also emphasized, in addition to building a competitive edge.
